USE CASE / AI AGENT SECURITY
Secure agents, MCP and tools as a real boundary.
Once an agent can call tools with real credentials, the threat model is identity + authorization + untrusted input + execution — not prompt filtering alone. 0day Factory tests whether untrusted content can drive an agent to act beyond its intended authority.
Every arrow can carry authority.
WHOSE IDENTITY EXECUTES? · CAN UNTRUSTED INPUT SHAPE ARGUMENTS? · WHERE IS AUTHZ ENFORCED? · WHAT CAN THE RUNTIME REACH?
The system, not just the model.
Testing the model alone misses the system. We review instructions, tool schemas, identity, OAuth scopes, MCP implementation, runtime reachability, organizational restrictions and downstream authorization together.
The winning control is not “trust the agent.” It is making agent authority explicit, narrow, observable and revocable — and then proving it holds under adversarial input.
Questions, answered.
Is prompt injection the main risk?
It is one vector. Authorization failure, credential overreach, unsafe tool arguments, execution bugs and transitive trust between agents matter just as much. We test the whole authority chain.
Do you test MCP servers?
Yes. MCP is increasingly a security boundary — identity-aware, with real tool privileges. We test whether untrusted content can reach a tool call that exceeds intended authority.
